University of California, San Diego
The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) modular vault and clinic is a state of the art facility for Cancer treatment. It houses patented technology for Radiotherapy. The two-story modular building consists of 13,000 square feet with clear span steel construction, steel studs with drywall, and enhanced structural loading to accommodate MRI and X-ray machines. It has stone veneer and architectural glass curtain wall exterior. Walden constructed the building off-site in our Riverside facility in 6 weeks. The project time from start of manufacturing to occupancy was approximately 7 months.
